Gary’s final WOD of the week consists of reps of swings, then burpees, then box jumps in a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 progression.
Drinking adequate amounts of water is especially important during hot and humid weather. The American Council on Exercise recommends that people consume between 17-20 ounces of fluid 2-3 hours prior to exercise, and another 8 ounces 20-30 minutes before starting a workout. During exercise, try to drink 7-10 ounces every 10-20 minutes. Thirty minutes after completing your workout, drink another 8 ounces of water.
